Hamha-Ha Rescue Dreamy

Ok so this time I actually have time/am not just about to leave the house so I've put REAL EFFORT into this stuff. I didn't end up getting feedback on my last app but shortly after I realised that there's an NPC who looked pretty much just like a brown version of her which was crazy haha I like this design more now anyway (totally based on my once upon a time real hamster btw). Also re-used the original sketch because I thought it was cute.

Personality: Dreamy is a mother hen. She can't help but want to protect and care for others, whether they're older, younger, or more capable at a task than her. She's known for worrying about others, including her enemies, and she just can't help but fuss over others. She has a habit of tidying up the fur of others Ham-Hams when she is distressed. Dreamy hates messes and likes to tidy things up as she goes along, attempting to create a fun game out of it for others to join in. She is aware that she can be over-bearing at times but her heart is always in the right place and she tries to be relaxed and calm on the outside to help soothe others. She is always eager to join in fun events and games and loves team bonding sessions and reasons to get together with others.

History: Dreamy doesn't remember much about her cubhood, only that it was very warm and cosy and she got to snuggle up and sleep with her brothers and sisters most of the time. She quickly learned to tidy up when bits and pieces of the nest would fall off or split open and she'd always be the one to pull everything back together for her lazy siblings. She was eventually put up for sale in the petshop she was living in and was bought by a young girl. She was nice enough but wasn't really prepared to care for the little hamster so the task was often left up to the girl's mother. The little girl also was obsessed with any other animal she found. One day, she left the cage door open after trying to fish out poor Dreamy, who had been rudely awakened from a nap, when a cat sauntered into the room from the open window. After noticing Dreamy, it too attempted to pull her from her home. In the cat's battle with the cage, it was knocked off the counter and onto the ground. Dreamy fled and eventually found herself outside. Against all of her instincts, she leapt into a gutter and hid. She quickly lost her way.
After that, Dreamy had to learn to survive in the wild. She was bedgrudgingly living the dirt-filled and chaotic life of a wild hamster when she stumbled upon a beautiful garden, belonging to an old lady. The centrepiece of the garden was a windmill birdhouse that wasn't in use, so Dreamy immediately rushed to make it her home. After finding the garden, things became a lot easier for Dreamy. The old lady soon discovered her - initially thinking it could be squirrels or fieldmice using the windmill - and started leaving nuts out for her. Dreamy liked the old woman very much. After settling in to her new home, she began to feel more comfortable and made a more conscious habit of keeping herself clean and tidy. She began venturing out, eager to make some Ham-Ham friends.

Hobbies:
- Cleaning. She loves to clean so much that she is always the first to volunteer for clean-up sessions...even if nobody asks.
- Drawing. The old lady seems to be an amateur artist herself and Dreamy began to copy her, using pencils that she 'borrowed'.
- Decorating. Her windmill home was bare when she moved in so she started collecting flowers and others plants to decorate the inside with.

Likes:
- Flowers of all kinds, but likes poppies and pink flowers the most.
- Anything soft that she can snuggle up into. Her bed is made up mainly of grass but also of soft fluffy feathers that she has found - and washed of course.
- Rain, as fewer animals come to disturb her during the rain.
- Having somebody to watch over and protect. It makes her feel warm and fuzzy and needed.
- Team games
- Almonds and hazelnuts

Dislikes:
- Cats. After her experience with them, they are the one animal she refuses to tolerate or feel anything for.
- Grabby hands that will squeeze her too tight and mess up her fur.
- Bullies
- Dirt, or anything remotely unclean sends her into an OCD frenzy.
- Wind and storms
- Loud noises

Extras:
- She has an old comb that she uses to brush her fur and keep it glossy
- The fur on the back of her neck and shoulders is very thick and fluffy
- Dreamy is actually based on one of my RL hamsters, the second one I ever owned. The majority of the app is made up (of course!) but she really was very calm and relaxed and used to tidy up her cage, especially around her bowl if she dropped any food. She also would've been born around mid-late November too based on when I bought her (wow, and that was like 10 years ago now!)
