Happy Families

So basically, I changed two of my pairings. I enjoyed having the SpyroxElora thing but, honestly, even when I liked that couple..I didn't? Sort of. I guess I just paired Spyro up with Elora because I was so excited about finding out who Elora was and cool people seemed to be doing it xD But I realise that I don't even really like it at all now so I decided to change it.

Something I have always been a fan of is SpyroxSheila. For some reason there is very little Sheila art, let alone with Spyro, which makes me sad. Year of the Dragon was the first Spyro game I played so Sheila was the first female character, other than Zoe, that I saw interact with him. And I absolutely loved her. Playing her levels was especially fun. I've always sort of had a soft spot for Sheila so I kept wondering about a pairing with Spyro for ages. I finally decided to take the plunge and go for it.

I compensated by partnering Elora with Blink. When I had SpyroxElora, I had BlinkxSheila, because I figured his adventuring would eventually lead him to her home at some point and her heroism would make them a good match. But I wasn't really feeling it and I couldn't make them a baby that I liked But since Elora is from Avalar and is good friends with the Professor, why wouldn't she meet his nephew at some point? It seems pretty good to me so I'm rolling with that one.

Spyro and Sheila's daughter is named Shire, as before. She's a dragon hybrid. She's mainly dragon and hatched from an egg (incubated in Sheila's pouch aw) but she just doesn't have wings or a tail tip and has her own pouch. She also has ears, but so do some dragons so Sheila's genes caused Shire to inherit dragon ears. Or something. Shire looks like she stands more like a kangaroo but she's actually just kind bottom-heavy like her mother. She's still friendly and adventurous but is more arrogant and cocky than nurturing. Still best friends with Rex the lion. And ALL of her colours (besides eye colour) were made by mixing Spyro and Sheila's. I just made a blob with one colour and on a different layer filled it with the corresponding colour from the other parent and set to opacity to 50%. Turned out well c:

Elora and Blink's son is named Roan (yes, Elora gets custody of a child too xD), and he's basically just your average faun. His colours were made the same way as Shire's. Roan is quiet and level-headed and always thinks before he acts. He's pretty curious and loves reading and learning. Um....not too interesting at this point I guess. I put more thought into Shire haha He has his daddy's big nose and freckles :3
